Danger spots due to persistent weak layers (on shady slopes). Wet loose-snow avalanches in all expositions.
The avalanche danger is in general low. Due to soaking the possibility of small sized moist and wet avalanches increases. Danger spots are found especially in full steep gullies, bowls and slopes. Weak layers within the old snow can be triggered with high additional loads in very few places and lead to medium sized slab avalanches. Danger spots are located in very steep shady slopes above 2.000 m. The amount of danger spots increases with altitude.
Snowpack
Rain till the altitude of 1.800 m and limited radiation during the night lead to increasing soaking of the snow cover below 2.000 m. In steep shady slopes above 2.000 m weak layers of faceted snow are found within the snow base.
Tendency
Wednesday the mountain weather will be changeable with sun and rain showers and it will get cooler. The avalanche danger stays low. The danger of spontaneous loose-snow avalanches is decreasing slightly.
