Gefahrenstellen gibt es allen Expositionen vor allem kammnah, aber auch kammfern. Mittlere Schneebrettlawinen können bereits durch geringe Zusatzbelastung ausgelöst werden. Werden durch große Belastung Schichten im Altschnee mit angesprochen können sie selten auch groß werden.
